Elliott Scott - Instructor
Dancing has always been what I do to get away for awhile, have some fun, and get my mind off everyday life. I feel that dancing is a gorgeous, expressive art form, and something that every person, no matter who you are, can truly enjoy. It continues to be a passion of mine to watch, engage in, and help others do the same.
I began Break dancing at the age of 12 and started teaching in 2003. Soon after I became entranced with Ballroom dances. I studied and quickly achieved many certifications. Quite the change in direction, but I love the challenge of new styles and forms of dance, especially partnership.
I love teaching students who enjoy dancing for themselves. It’s wonderful to see people who came in having a bad day, walk out having the best. Many of my students aren’t sure at first of what they are capable, and I love to see it when they surprise themselves! I really enjoy teaching people this art, and seeing people truly work hard for it.
I am a pretty laid back guy. I love to laugh, and am a bit of a joker, so long as everyone is in on it. I love to battle people at Break Dancing, so if you’re up for the challenge, contact me! Dancing is a big part of my life and the reason for many of my successes. I love meeting new people, and introducing them to the wonderful world of dance, so come let me share my world with you.
